The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on Tuesday confirmed that the Zilzaj Moon was not seen anywhere in Pakistan. The decision came after a meeting in Islamabad, headed by Chairman Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad, in which regional committees did not see any verified.
As a result, Zilhajj 1446 Ah will begin on Thursday, May 29, 2025, which means that Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on Saturday, June 7. It aligns with the earlier forecast by the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco), which indicated that the Moon would not appear due to adverse conditions on 27 May.
